Directions

From the M6 South (London, Birmingham) Exit the M6 at junction 19 (Knutsford).

At the roundabout, take the third exit (A556, Manchester).

Follow the A556 for 4 miles to the roundabout and take the 3rd exit (M56, Manchester).

Continue on the M56 and onto the A5103.

Continue on the dual carriageway for 7 miles, following signs for the city centre.

At the roundabout, take the second exit, following signs for GMEX, and continue onto Medlock Street.

At the second set of traffic lights, turn right onto Great Bridgewater Street, by the side of Bridgewater Hall.

Go through the next set of lights (with McDonald’s on your right) into Portland Street.

Go through two sets of lights, then take the second left (opposite Yates’s Wine Lodge) into Charlotte Street.

Take the 2nd right hand turn into George Street.

Turn right into York Street and continue down York Street.

The Hotel car-park is on your left hand side directly after the NCP car park entrance prior to the traffic lights at the end of York Street

From the M61 North (Preston) Exit the M6 at junction 30 (Manchester) onto the M61.

Exit the M61 at junction 2 onto the A580, which leads onto the A6.

Continue along the A6 for about 5 miles and go through the set of traffic lights showing signs for Trinity Way.

At the next set of lights, turn right into New Bailey Street.

At the fifth set of lights, turn left into Portland Street.

Go through the first set of lights, then take the second left into Charlotte Street.

There are roadworks taking place on the right-hand side of Charlotte Street.

Take the next available right-hand turn, then follow the yellow diversion signs to the next available right-hand turn.

Turn right again at the next available street and continue to the next junction.

Turn right into York Street.

The entrance to the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly hotel car park leads up a spiral ramp on your left-hand side, directly after the NCP car park entrance.

From the M60 East (Leeds) Exit the M60 at junction 17 (Manchester) and follow the A56 (Bury New Road) for about 5 miles.

Continue onto Victoria Street, and then onto Deansgate.

Kendals department store is on your right - at the next major set of traffic lights, turn left into John Dalton Street, and then onto Princess Street.

At the third set of traffic lights, turn left into Portland Street.

Go through the first set of traffic lights.

At the second set of lights, turn left (opposite Yates’s Wine Lodge) into Charlotte Street.

There are roadworks taking place on the right-hand side of Charlotte Street.

Take the next available right-hand turn, then follow the yellow diversion signs to the next available right-hand turn.

Turn right again at the next available street and continue to the next junction.

Turn right into York Street.
