Hotel Description

Set in the historic town of Midhurst, at the foot of the South Downs, the hotel has a close association with Cowdray Park Polo and Goodwood Racecourse, Motor Circuit and Aerodrome. The Spread Eagle & Spa offers morning coffee or afternoon tea; overnight accommodation in one of its 35 individually-decorated bedrooms, some with four-poster beds, all with high speed internet access; lunch and dinner in the candle-lit Restaurant or something lighter from our seasonal menus served in the historic Lounge Bar, with it's roaring fires, Conservatory or Terrace, as well as relaxing Spa Day or a beauty treatment in the Aquila Spa.

Of The Spread Eagle's six function rooms, the Jacobean Hall is the largest, accommodating up to 90 guests for a wedding breakfast or private dinner or up to 40 delegates for conferencing in style! The Polo Room, with its high-vaulted ceiling and air conditioning, is a perfect environment for seminars and is licenced for civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests.

The Aquila Spa offers an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, fully equipped gym and three treatment rooms, using the Elemis product range. read more
