The Duke of Wellington was built in the 17th-century as a traditional coaching inn and posting house. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Minehead. Minehead is a bustling seaside town with attractions to suit a large range of people. It is home to West Somerset Steam railway which runs several steam trains throughout the day over the summer period. Minehead is also famously home to the family amusement park Butlins for which any of our guests could visit upon purchasing a day pass. Minehead is situated on the north coast of Somerset boasting some fabulous sea views.
