Hotel Description

Located high atop Wenlock Edge, with stunning views of Shropshire’s Apedale, the Long Mynd, and beyond. We are a traditional Shropshire pub, offering true hospitality to everyone from walkers, horse riders, through to lunch time diners wanting a pub snack, and light bites, and in the evenings we host many locals, farmers and business folk after hard days work, enjoying real ale in the bar, or a glass of wine, and our extensive restaurant menus.

Following our loving restoration in Spring 2008, the Wenlock Edge Inn now offers a wide selection of real ales (A member of CAMRA) fine wines, and Belgian Beers..Alongside our local and regional produce.

Bar
Our Hobsons Real ales, as well as Continental lagers, attract many thirsty passers by, and we have created an exciting new wine list, with many by the glass, and bottles from just £10.95.

Food
The food is lovingly created by James Siviter which is all freshly prepared and locally sourced.

The menu is traditional British pub food, from premium bar snacks, all the way up to great local steaks (with our hand-cut fat chips) and homemade pies - also fresh beer battered scallops, and our daily fish board (depending on season). Using local and regional produce, we will be holding special events, where you can often meet our local suppliers, as many of them drink in the pub!

Patio
Enjoy our views on our stunning enclosed patio, complete with fish pond from our own Wenlock Edge fresh water spring.

Rooms
'The Edge' is a great place to base yourself if you are on a leisure break, or even if you don't want a taxi and want to enjoy the setting, and of course a few glasses of wine!
