We are delighted to have recently been awarded a 5* Guest House rating by VisitScotland and a 5 Gold Star rating by the AA, both in 2010 - we are the only Guest House in the Highlands and Islands to have achieved both awards. Built in approximately 1920 for Sir John and Lady Cargill, Ard-na-Coille is a stunning former Hunting Lodge which retains many of its original features including a beautiful original sandstone fireplace. Ard-na-Coille featured in the "Monarch of the Glen" BBC TV programme as "Glenbogle Golf Club" and many of the cast stayed here.
