There are 25 spotlessly clean bedrooms with stunning views across Asknish Bay to the Islands beyond, giving plenty of natural light. Bedrooms range from luxury suites, superior and classic rooms, each incorporating its own individual style and charm, having either private terrace or balcony. They have been elegantly decorated in rich colours and fabrics, furnished with fresh flowers, local landscapes and antiques. Many bedrooms are dog friendly (one of the very few hotels in the area who accommodate dogs) and are accessible for those who require no stairs. Also the hotel welcomes children and babies in their family rooms.

The Arduaine Restaurant serves fantastic food, which is recognised by being awarded 2 AA Rosettes consistently since 2000. The hotel is ardent about sourcing the best quality local ingredients, serving amazing seafood such as freshly caught langoustines, lobster and crab landed direct from the slipway in Arduaine. Plus, select cuts of meat from nearby Barbrek Farm in Ardfern. Add to this seasonal vegetables and aromatic herbs, handpicked from Loch Melfort’s kitchen greenhouse and guests have a true gourmet experience. Guests can also relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink and canapés or retire for a nightcap to the cosy cocktail lounge in front of the blazing fire.

Inveraray Castle is in magnificent condition with many interesting displays such as armour, weapons, tapestries and relics chronicling the castle’s place in Scottish history. The hills surrounding Loch Melfort are full of many scenic walks suitable for all abilities and not to forget the varied selection of courses awaiting golfers in and around the Oban area. Highland courses are known for their ruggedness and challenging holes, set amidst beautiful scenery, and are well-maintained with amenities for visiting golfers.
