Hotel Description

The Boars Head is a lovely old building, built in the 1700's, set in a picturesque little village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Set between the market towns of Skipton (10 miles) and Settle (4 miles). We are perfectly positioned in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and very close to the Forest of Bowland and the Lakes.

The pub offers several traditional cask ales, lagers & ciders. The menu, served throughout the pub, provides a wide choice of homemade food from our Steak & Ale Pie, Gammon, 16oz steaks and huge battered haddock to more unusual dishes on our specials which change daily and can include things such as Lobster, Tuna Steaks, Rib Eyes, Duck a la orange e.t.c. Our Restaurant has built an excellent reputation for serving top quality food, (Tel 01729 840217 for table reservations) Food is served everyday 12pm - 9pm.

The Boars Head is an ideal centre for walking or touring holidays: open moorland, the hill slopes of the Pennines, caves and waterfalls are all within easy reach of the village. Sporting and leisure activities are catered for locally including walking, pony trekking, mountain climbing, cycling, pot holing, fishing and golf.
