Built in the 19th century, Newfield Hall stands proudly at the end of a tree-lined drive in two acres of mature grounds and has spectacular views across the fells. Designated as non-smoking, it has 48 bedrooms, equipped with a hairdryer, clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions are provided in the bedrooms.

Guests can enjoy the heated indoor swimming pool and play table tennis in the games room or relax in the two lounges and bar. Outdoors there is a putting green.

Meals are served in an informal, friendly atmosphere at tables for up to 10 guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday, a self-select picnic lunch is provided.

Free car parking is available. Please notify the Country House in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

The Country House is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday with access to the Pennine Way, which leads north to Malham Cove, just a few minutes’ walk from the Country House. Harrogate is 30 miles away and York, with its Jorvik Viking Centre and railway museum is 50 miles away.
