Standing in Six acres of gardens and grounds and countryside with a pretty babbling brook (complete with fishing rights) adjacent.
The original part of the house is believed to date back to 1850 and has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard, the gardens wrap around all four sides with lawns and terraces, all completely fenced in, and visited by a large variety of birds. Alton Brook House provides the perfect family base to explore all that beautiful Derbyshire/Staffordshire has to offer.
There is excellent riding (bring your horses, we have super large paddocks and stables, and good hacking) cycling and walking to be found locally
Alton Brook House provides quality accommodation and is ideally situated for all the areas local attractions.
For those of you wishing to visit Alton Towers we are just 2.6 miles direct to Alton on a quiet country lane, we offer peace and tranquillity away from the hurly-burly and traffic, The local towns have a good number of shops, pubs and restaurants (Italian, Chinese, Indian etc).
If you wish to enjoy the evenings outside, we can provide the perfect setting with a BBQ, a wonderful way to enjoy the views and watch the sun set. BBQ, plates etc are provided.
We also offer ample parking for several vehicles.
With large gardens and fields with chickens, and horses, Alton Brook House is the ideal place to relax.
Pets also welcome if you would like to bring your dog we also have day kennels take advantage of our day kennels so you can enjoy your days out without having to rush back or leave your dog at home overnight. We aim to ensure that your dog has a fun and rewarding day with us giving you peace of mind so you can enjoy your day at Alton Towers.
