Do they actually know its a Hotel?
I stayed 2 nights in June and although it is a very low priced ' Hotel' it felt more like a Hostel. The staff , which amounted to two , were never around, the bar didnt seem to be open and if it was was not at all welcoming. There was a musty smell to certain parts of the place and all of it needed to have a good clean, although that cannot be said about the bedding and towels which were spotless. The breakfast was not enjoyable, parts of it was cold...1 tea bag in a teapot meant for two people meant the tea was extremely weak...I had to ask for it to be half filled on the second morning. I also had to ask for clean towels and for them to replenish the tea/coffee etc in the room. The staff were polite but I think they need to go on a course for how to run a Hotel as this could be a gold mine if the correct people were running it, given its location in Stratford. Very disapointed, if I could demand my money back I would.
