A mile north of the old market town of Sturminster Newton and within easy reach of the historic towns of Sherborne, Shaftesbury and Dorchester the Old Post Office is the ideal base for walkers, cyclists and those wishing to explore the beautiful countryside of rural north Dorset.

There are many good country pubs nearby including the White Horse in the village, a friendly local pub serving traditional home cooked food and within walking distance of the B&B .

The B&B offers two comfortable double rooms, one with private bathroom and the other with en-suite shower room.
Both rooms are double aspect making them light and sunny. Crisp white cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and scented toiletries including soap, shampoo, body lotion, shower gel and bath salts. The beds are made up with a duvet and an additional cosy throw should you need it.

Your room has a radio alarm, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities with a selection of tea, herbal tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
