Hotel Description
Nestled in extensive gardens in the centre of Swanage, this unique family-run hotel for the last 16 years combines the atmosphere of a traditional country house with all the amenities of a modern hotel. (See Hotel on YouTube)Steeped in history, the 38 bedrooms are divided between the main house, constructed in 1875, and the newly-built Louisa Lodge. All of the bedrooms are en suite and some have sea or garden views.
The Hotel have two restaurants (Hardy Restaurant and the Garden Conservatory where we served breakfast, Home Made Dorset Cream Tea and Dorset apple Cake served on the Garden terrace or Conservatory
During your stay you can explore the wonderful surroundings, including the seafront on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast (300 yards) and the bustling centre of Bournemouth (15 miles).
