Directions

Appledown House ( 01822 610478 www.appledownhouse.com ) is easy to find and is just a short 7 minute drive from Tavistock, in the beautiful Devon countryside.

From Tavistock town centre proceed past the Bedford Hotel along the A386 Plymouth Road to Drake’s statue roundabout.

Take the 2nd exit.

At the next mini roundabout, with the SPA shop facing you, take the 2nd exit into Ford Street.

At the next mini roundabout take the 1st exit (sharp left) into Spring Hill, signposted Lamerton.

Proceed up the hill passing Tavistock Cottage Hospital on your left.

Continue along this road for approximately 3 miles passing the sign for Lamerton and passing the Blacksmith's Arrms Public House.

After approximately 0.5m (and having passed a left fork signed Chipshop and Gulworthy), turn left at the crossroads also signed Chipshop and Gulworthy.

The entrance to Appledown House is on your left.

NB Satnav will take you to the bungalow at the bottom of our garden.

With the bungalow on your right, proceed to the crossroads and turn right, Appledown House is now on your right with the entrance a few yards further up.
