QHotels have recently purchased the &nsp;Telford Golf and Country Club Hotel,   previously operated by Swallow Hotels as a 3 star hotel. Our intention is to realise the fantastic potential of the hotel, and consequently we will be investing over £5 million during the remainder of this year, commencing in March which will improve every facet of the hotel.

The refurbishment will see a substantial upgrading of all areas of the hotel on a staged basis. By December, we will have a fully refurbished, 4 star standard hotel with fabulous golf, leisure, conference and event facilities, not forgetting a superb restaurant overlooking the famous Ironbridge Gorge!"

Telford Golf and Country Club Hotel is set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. The surrounding area is home to the famous World Heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge, but also a rich tapestry of stately homes, ancient roman ruins, castles, abbeys, churches and beautiful parks and gardens.

The hotel has spectacular views over the 18 hole championship golf course and with the restaurant set high above the magnificent Ironbridge Gorge it is an ideal setting for dinner.

The 96 bedrooms have all the amenities expected with many offering breath-taking views of the surrounding area. The leisure club has an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and squash courts.
