The Lion Inn offers its customers a friendly service featuring great real ales, a variety of popular draught beers, inexpensive wines and spirits and of course home cooked food. We are pleased to cater for locals, holidaymakers with their children and pets, day-trippers and any one else that does not fit into any of the above categories!

The pub is owned and managed by Michael and Caroline Jeffery and offers good food, drink and accommodation. The Lion is situated in a quiet village on the edge of the Minsmere Bird Reserve and within a few miles of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are just a few miles away. The nearest rail links are 3.5 miles away at either Darsham or Saxmundham.

The cabins are situated on land at the rear of the Lion Inn, adjacent to a picturesque meadow where cows and sheep can often be seen grazing. Each cabin is heated, comfortably furnished and has an en-suite shower and toilet. Also provided are clock radio and tea & coffee making facilities for that all-important early morning cuppa.
