Kilfinan Hotel has been welcoming travellers since the 1760s. The spectacular Highland scenery on the eastern shores of Loch Fyne, Scotland's longest sea loch, and the peaceful, unhurried lifestyle of the area make it a perfect year round retreat.The hotel is situated in idyllic countryside and stands next to Kilfinan Church, which was established around 650AD. Views of Loch Fyne can be enjoyed from the hotel and gardens with wonderful sunsets. There are 10 bedrooms, all centrally heated, with en-suite bathroom, colour TV and direct-dial telephone.The bars are cosy with log fires in Winter and offer a fine selection of malts. There are two intimate dining rooms and for larger parties, weddings, birthdays, ceilidhs etc, the Lamont Room is the perfect venue. Food is freshly prepared and cooked to order using the best of local produce.Good walking begins at the hotel door, to Kilfinan Bay or longer hikes on the hills providing wildlife sightings and scenery. Fishing and golf are nearby. Kilfinan is steeped in Scottish history and is the ancestral home of the Lamont and MacEwan clans.
