Sir Alexander was Managing Director of Johnnie Walker whisky and created Johnnie Walker Red and Black label. The property, which is located opposite the Royal Troon Golf Course, world renowned location of the British Open Golf Championship, remained a family home until 1956 and is now a hotel retaining the original country house character.Average hotel rating
