The Old Pheasant, Glaston
The Old Pheasant has just changed ownership - but AsiaRooms failed to ensure the new owners had our booking registered! However, Simone (the new owner) responded to my email sent to check the booking was very helpful and accepted our booking at the stated price with no quibble. As the new owner, she is in the process of planning a refurbishment to update the rooms. The food is excellent, but there was slight confusion in the waitress's mind (she's French if that is relevant) over the difference between a 'liqueur coffee' and a coffee with a brandy! Breakfast was very good and excellent value at £6.50 per person.

The Old Pheasant has just changed ownership - but AsiaRooms failed to ensure the new owners had our booking registered! As the new owner, she is in the process of planning a refurbishment to update the rooms. Breakfast was very good and excellent value at £6.50 per person. The AsiaRooms website has a serious problem in that it assumes a Twin room is not large enough for a mother and daughter! It IS and the website needs to be corrected urgently. This booking was made by the occupier's step-father and he has written this review.
