Directions

From the South, follow the M6 North to exit 36 and take the A591 towards Windermere, at Windermere continue on the A591 towards Ambleside.

You will start to go down a hill, past St Mary's Church on the left hand side and continue down the hill and we are situated on the left 100 yards before a mini roundabout (Cook's Corner).

From the North, follow the M6 South to exit 40 and take the A66 to Keswick, follow the A591 South past Lake Thirlmere and Grasmere to Windermere, at the mini roundabout continue straight on and we are 100 yards on the right.

Windermere train station is approx 12 minutes walk and there are regular buses which pass The Firgarth; bus stop situated outside Firgarth car park.
