Old Granary House is a restored farm building, full of character. It is situated just off the A59 roughly halfway between Harrogate and York. The house is set in south facing open countryside, with mature shrubs and a natural wildlife pond complete with resident ducks (that like to be fed) Moorhens and Coots and Canada Geese that come to raise their young (Spring to Autumn). There is roughly half an acre of garden in which you can relax after a busy day exploring all that this part of Yorkshire has to offer, including numerous historic attractions, stately homes and museums. The house is ideally positioned to use as a base for those who like outdoor pursuits eg; cycling and walking.Average hotel rating
