I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in 4 different hotels in Bali and this was definately the best. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and it has a wonderful atmosphere.

for all is ok, but while we were staying there we can smelt the insect chemical, luckily we were not in lower floor, and the swimming pool is too much clorine.we stayed in high floor, can't imagine how strong the smelt in lower floor. Breakfast also just so so...near airport and the Kuta beach just walk.For kids and honeymoon better not..maybe only for youngters or bagpack

My hubby and I enjoyed our stay in The Rani Resort and Spa tremendously! Hotel is pretty new, only two yrs old so everything is new, clean and neat. Room is of a very good size, managed to get a ground floor room with direct access to pool :) Good thing about this hotel is most of the rooms have a view of the pool. Swimming pool is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is ok, slight changes in varity everyday during my 5 days there. Love the way they do the eggs! :) Spa is a bit pricy compared to other hotels around that area. Good, friendly and warm service :) Location wise, it is a short walk (abt 15 mins) to Discovery Centre and around 25 mins walk to main Kuta Beach. But you can always take a cab to main Kuta Beach for less than US$1/-! Slight problem with the mosquitoes (which I believe is due to the hot season, they are everywhere!) but the staff have at least tried to get rid of them by spraying insecticide during their housekeeping. Was a bit disappointed when i was told that rental of DVD player is chargable though. But nevertheless, The Rani is a very good value for money hotel and I will definately consider staying there again for my next stay!
