The Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarter’s opening marks the culmination of a three-year project to transform a very successful, yet very 1950’s style Washington hotel, The Governor’s House, into one of the areas newest hotel innovations.
The new contemporary design steers clear of the area’s onslaught of “trendy” hotels and instead combines cosmopolitan style with contemporary elegance and admittedly a touch of whimsy.
Leveraging the expertise of local designers A&D and renowned local restaurant designer Walter Gagliano, Capital Hotels & Suites has created a fresh design with the latest in technology advancements augmented by a seductive elegance throughout the hotel.
Guest rooms provide the luxury of space, where guests can comfortably work, relax and play. Colors, textures, lighting and furnishings have been carefully selected for each room to reflect a richness and warmth in décor that create a sanctuary for the guests.
A total of 10,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space, a unique rooftop penthouse and terrace will provide premium space for board meetings and intimate social events.
An innovative restaurant, BB&G (Beacon Bar & Grill)—a fusion of four separate and distinctive dining experiences will provide you with a memorable dining experience and the opportunity to hobnob with the locals for a true color of the nation's capital.
