Small room, hotel nicely located in Hanoi
This hotel is convieniently located in the Old Quarters of Hanoi. There are plenty of places to eat and shop near this hotel. Walk about 5-10 minutes and you will be at scenic Hoan Kiem Lake. The room was pretty small as was the bathroom, although it was clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary. You can choose from Asian and western breakfast dishes. If you need to book any tours for Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay you can also do so through this hotel.

Perfect stay at perfect hotel
Very nice hotel and really satisfied with this hotel. From the moment we arrived until the final bowed goodbye the service was fabulous. The hotel is very modern,clean with breathtaking views.

The sunrise hotel or thai son is a good one:comfortable, clean and the staff is very friendly.
But you have to be careful with the propositions of their trips. First the trips are more expensive than in the agencies or they don't give the same price for their customers : example we paid 90 $ for 2 days in Halong bay and others $60. The same man of the staff forgot to book our trip to Tam coc. We already paid $35,and we did on our own with a trainee :4h travel with train 2. class and local Bus and half an hour on the river. They also tried to change our room. Don t buy the ticket train by them. Indeed we were to trustfull!

Sunrise is a part of Thaisson Grand...2 hotels joined together. There were problems with the room we were given but we were moved to the other hotel where the rooms are much better
On the better side of budget
The hotel wasn't quite what we'd expected upon arrival, but we got what we paid for. It wasn't very clean, but not off-putting. The location is very good, though, and the hotel arranged an airport pickup, which waited for an hour with our visa delay. The manager is also helpful, and changed money for us when the banks were closed. Altogether, it was a convenient place to stay.
Very nice hotel and excellent staff
We highly recommend this hotel and think it is the best hotel in Hanoi. Our room has a window like balcony. The bath-room is very clean. Bed is soft and comfortable. Good breakfast too. The staff is the best for this hotel and they are always helpful and friendly. Love this hotel and we will highly recommend it.
Nice hotel, big rooms and very friendly...
Nice hotel, big rooms and very friendly service. Only problem was with the airport pick up that the hotel offers. I had confirmed our pick up from the airport, but when we arrived, no one was there. No excuse was given when the Hotel was contacted, and we ended up spending two hours in a Taxi as the diver could not find the hotel.

Quiet area and good cleanliness hotel!
As on my previous visit the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Bed was very comfortable and clean, bathroom clean, modern and deluxe. Warm water in hotel, plenty of towels available. Very pleasant room and nice decor, very quiet, and located in busy street with attractions nearby, but in the room very quite. Buffet breakfast was include in price of room. Highly recommend.
We stayed at the hotel for 2nights....
We stayed at the hotel for 2nights. There is an older part (sunrise) and a newer part called Thaisson2.We stayed in the older part as we had no idea about the newer part!You need to ask them. The location is great. The service and help we received from the hotel staff was superb.We took 2 tours via the hotel to halong bay and Sapa which were very good. Sary is a sweety.
