Camellia Hotel
Our room was very very small and the air conditioning didn't work that well so we struggled to sleep as our room was very very hot. Was really cheap to stay there so you get what you pay for :) Bathroom was really tiny and crammed in, didn't feel inclined to use the shower. Good location and staff were really friendly and helped us out with booking tours and taxi etc!!
We were very happy with Camilla 6, It was our first stop in Vietnam. When we got there, they were full and never got our reservation, but put us in the hotel next door, which was very similar. That room was very basic, and there was always a puddle of water in the bathroom, and the air conditioner didn't work properly(it was winter). But the next day the manager gave us a deluxe room to make up for it. The lady manager was absolutely lovely, she had a gorgeous young son. Her english was excellent and the rates they offered for tourist activities were as good or better than the tourist offices, and would organise everything for you. For the money we spent, we were very happy, would recommend this hotel for any budget traveller
The hotel is in a handy location,...
The hotel is in a handy location, not far from the busy section of Hanoi. The staff are attentive, wifi in the room and a couple of pc's available in the lobby. I was happy to be given the only room on the ground floor, because the stairs up to the other floors looked awfully steep. The breakfast provided lacked a bit of variety, but overall it was good value for money.A clean friendly place to stay.
