For the price it was a good price/value. just to spend 1 or 2 nights in Hanoi.
1 thing they advertise that the rooms are sound proof but it was not true for our room and horns in Hanoi are almost all night long...

Things got off to a great...
Very Disappointed
Things got off to a great start when I was met at the railway station by the staff from the hotel and taken quickly in a free taxi to the hotel. It is situated just to the north of the Hoan Kiem Lake in the Old Town, so is in a good position. Then things started to go wrong. The hotel manager is much more interested in booking trips for you than in running the hotel. Accordingly, you have to ask continually for fresh towels, soap and the room to be cleaned. I booked two trips with him, the first was unsatisfactory, the second - a three day trip to Halong Bay - was a complete disaster. In both cases, he had promised things that the tour company did not deliver - indeed they wanted to charge extra for items that I was certain were included in the original price - other travellers felt the same. For the Halong Bay trip, he apologised, offered me a full refund, then back-tracked and said I could have only a $15 refund.
Avoid this hotel.
