one of the best hotels in Hanoi,friendly environment, safe, clean, absolutely value for money.
Royal
This hotel is also know as the Royal hotel although it's very central to everything i would'nt stay at this hotel again.We could'nt eat the breakfast so we went out to eat
Would highly recommend this hotel
We ended up extending our stay at the Hanoi Silver Hotel for another few days longer than we had originally booked as we enjoyed it so much. The rooms were spotlessly clean and they put fresh flowers and a different kind of fruit in your room every couple of days which was a lovely touch that we hadn't come across before. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay really wonderful. Everytime you came downstairs they jumped up to open the door for you or to push the lift button for you. The breakfast was different each day and was a buffet and if you wanted an omlette or scrambled eggs for instance they would happily make them for you straight away. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay as it was fantastic and being in Hang Bac St it is walking distance to everywhere you want to go.
Thanks to all the wonderful staff and the girls at the desk Joy and Anna for looking after us so well. We look forward to seeing you again on our next trip to Vietnam!!

Breakfast
The room was large but the interior needed abit of an overhaul, the breakfast was disgusting we could'nt eat it very limited. This place is also know as the Royal, great location right in the middle of everything no need for a taxi would'nt stay there again.
Great location for District 1 of Hanoi
This hotel was well located, surrounded by small shops, restaurants and to the Hoan Kiem Lake. a 10 minute walk to the large local market place.
Clean and tidy, secure with 24 hr access (we arrived in Hanoi by train at 4.30am and were able to get into our room at 5.00am which was a great relief).
My only concern was that we booked 2 Superior rooms and only received 1 with our travelling companions being put into a standard room and while we were on a tour, Hotel staff phoned me to tell me they were changing our room up 1 floor (I objected but it happened anyway).
Everything in our first room was packed and moved with everything accounted for (more of an annoyance than anything). Our new room was still fine with our balcony view to the street below.
Breakfast was basic but ok.

This hotel is well located in the old part of Hanoi. The personnel is friendly. Rooms are clean. Hotels price is affordable.I will com back again
good hotel, good room, good staff
my room was good, buffet was ok with me. sometimes it is noisy outside the streets, if you need silence, stay on high floor or room in backside. they will recommend you the tour with good price.

Worst place we stayed in Vietnam. Did not even tty the shower. Very basic. Breakfast ordinary and room very noisy. Apart from that , good location. Ian

should be a great service, i would not have said goodbye with them, all the things are now in my mind, i can not forget, staffs so useful, friendly, they offer me free water puppet in the evening.

Near Hs of Ho Guom. i stayed at Deluxe in the backside , nice city view, but sometimes there are some noisy from the staffs in the afternoon, but i not mind, because they are very funny and smile at me.

Great location, good services, nice buffet
Very useful staffs, they always smile at me anytime, buffet on the morning quite dilicous & tasty, hotel is very near Hoan Kiem lake, many restaurants & shops here, it seems door-step, the hotel near night market, exactly 50 metere, you can try many dishes at Hanoi's Old Quarters.
I highly recommend the hotel for other tourists, please staying at Hanoi Silver Hotel when you come to Hanoi.
