THe Anise Hotel , is indeed a good Hotel. There is a gym availble and the internet service is for free. The breakfast too is excellent. ThHe only problem I had was that the beef noodle I ordered one night ta the restaurant was rotten...and I had to pay for it as well. Thre are plenty of restaurants around and much cheaper.
Considering the hotel is in Vietnam, the service is quite good. Though, sometimes there is a bit of stiffness. However, this has to do with the local culture.
The location of the hotel is perfect just outside the old citadel, you can actually walk around any place of interest.
Make sure to ask the hotel to pick you up at the Airport. Though I used an official Taxi company, they tricked me. THe taxi driver did not bring me to the Hotel. SO, I had to walk my way....
