The hotel was ok, but I don't...
The hotel was ok, but I don't recommend using the massage services. There was not initial mention of the need to tip - but it was not the cost of the tip that bothered us, but the fact that they recommended the amount for tipping. Not only that, when we said that we wanted to discuss among ourselves and the receptionist what was the usual procedure, the masseur blocked me and prevented us from leaving the massage room! Service was not professional.
In general, there is a need to exercise caution when using services involving human interface in Hanoi.
The hotel is OK and within expectations for the price, but avoid the massage services at the top floor.
