We enjoyed our stay at the Quoc...
We enjoyed our stay at the Quoc Hoa and would recommend it to others. It's a very cool boutique hotel in a great location in Hanoi. To start, the location is very good. It's right in the heart of the Old Market. It is worth mentioning that the Old Market is an utterly confusing part of town, however. We spent 5 days in Hanoi and had to rely on a map every single time we walked back to the hotel. But there are many shops and restaurants in this part of town. If you're looking for a more relaxed location, I suggest looking at hotels near the Opera House, which seemed to be much quieter than our part of town.
We got the Deluxe room here (one level up from the standard) and it was a lovely room. They heeded our request to put us on a top floor, where we had a wonderful view of the whole city. The room was clean, large, and very stylish. It was always very relaxing to spend time there. Breakfast was very tasty and in a nice location on a top floor solarium, with great views of the city. Service was also very helpful, and the front desk helped with many things, including dinner reservations and holding our luggage during our overnight trip to Halong Bay. Like all hotels, don't bother booking tours through the front desk, though, because the prices were outrageously high.
All in all, this was a well-priced, cool hotel in a good location that we would recommend to others.
