The staff are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and service oriented.
We (two adults, one child, one baby)...
We (two adults, one child, one baby) got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The room was big, clean and modern. The bathroom had no shower, but a jacuzzi. We personally perfer a shower, because after taking a bath for the children the entire bathroom was wet ;-). No night light was availabe, which was difficult for us to prepare or read something after sunset without waking up the children. The bathroom was a sub-room in the room and walls were made of glass, which was nice, but as soon as you switched the light on, the entire room was bright.
The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good.
The street fiew rooms are noisy because of the BBQ sold on the street and the bells which tell you every 15 minutes the time.
We enjoyed our stay thier and I can recommend the hotel.

Great little hotel. Very new and modern. Great decor. the bathrooms were wonderful. Location very good, construction going on but can be expected as Hanoi seems to be work in project in many areas as the tourism grows. The staff were very helpful in all areas.

My wife and I have just returned from a well earned break. This hotel was perfect for us, it is very stylish with beautiful original features, our room was very spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom has a wonderful jacuzzi bath and everything is cleaned to a very high standard. It is within short walking distance of the hustle and bustle of the main street but as it is tucked away it is quieter.
The Receptionist spoke good English and was always friendly and happy to give advise.
All the staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a good selection of fresh food for breakfast. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Stayed there for the second time and loved it. Staff is so friendly, service is perfect and location is excellent too. We had two very good nights without any disturbing noise.

Wonderfully located in Hanoi near the St Hoseph's Cathedral & Hoan Kiem lake, it is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of this capital city. Excellent value spacious and brightly decorated rooms with balcony. Our room had a view of the cathedral. Most importantly, wonderful staff to assist you ( specially Jeniffer & Peter ). The best stay in Hanoi.

My husban and I stayed at the Splendid Star 2 Hotel four days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is located one block from cathedral, very quiet. It was also a short walk to the Hoan Kiem lake where we enjoyed walking, sightseeing & watching the water puppet show. We definitely will stay here the next time we are in Hanoi.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Located is in a great spot! Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nice room with spacious bathroom. Would highly recommend for a comfortable, nice, quiet stay.
