Amazing hotel with great services in Hanoi Old town
Thank you very much for your great service " Asian Legend hotel". Great location near by the Lake and water puppet show is just few minutes to walk. The room was very new, nice decor and spotless clean with lovely view to the city and equipped with a lot amenities such as flat TV with many international channels, internet wireless speed free in whole the hotel. The staff have been an excellent source of information and help and have been genuine though out our entire stay. A particular thank you to Mr Duy and the Manager Patrick Lee, who have organized trip to Ha Long Bay, Sapa and whole trips to the South for us with fantastic program and great services. We would recommend a stay at Asian Legend hotel to anybody who is planning to come to Hanoi or even whole Vietnam. We certainly hope that we can return in the future.
A massive thank you to the team of your hotel, especially Mr Sonny. Hanoi was our first stop and thanks to these guys it set the tone for a fantasic holiday ! From the airport pick up to the 3 day cruise in Halong , Sapa - Bac Ha market and flight ticket to Nha Trang organised by the hotel everything was perfect, price was surprise, cheaper than we espected, The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable bed. located in amongst of the old town. So very easy to access to any attractive places. I would highly recommend this. Thanks again
My family stayed here for a week recently and thorough enjoyed this hotel. It is just a few min to walk from the the Hoan Kim lake, shopping areas and many restaurants nearby. The staff could not have been nicer and went out of their way to go with us to the police to help me with my lost luggage. Moreover, they helped to arrange 2 days trip to Halong bay with great service and promotion price. The eating area was clean and cozy and we enjoyed a delicious filling breakfast every morning. The friendly staff, most of whom speak English, were more than willing to help me with directions, suggestions and general questions.
Generally though, I highly recommend this hotel for those who wants a fairly central location, quiet hotel (a rarity in Hanoi ), great room sized , comfortable beds with very nice, clean bathrooms and a terrific staff. When we come back to Hanoi we will be staying here again.

nice rooms but tricky manager
it is a good idea to get a 15 USD pickup from airport to hotel. the sweet mouthed young manager (impeccably dressed) is a tricky guy and tries to make money anyway he can, as follows:
1. on arrival, he tries to give you the rooms on 5th floor claiming the place is full and offering a next day move to 1 st fl;
2. the usual tours he offers (hanoi city or perfume pagoda) cost an average of 150 USD more per person than if you'd book with Sinh Cafe;
3. upon payment, he tries to add 10% on the bill, as government tax (prices on website are net).
apart from this, the hotel is narrow and tall, like most of hanoi buildings; there is no lift. breakfast buffet is a joke, and there is only a 6 people table for all guests. luckily it's never full. rooms are clean, spacious, definitely worth the price.

I have booked this hotel after reading...
I have booked this hotel after reading many reviews on tripadvisor and was recommended by my friend who has just come back from Hanoi. We were impressed by the hotel staffs , they were friendly and offer excellent customer service from small issues, like guide us where to eat, how much is the taxi, book us the tour, give us good exchange rate, till helping us buying Pho from local Vietnamese restaurant nearby. We really feel comfortable as we are staying at home. The hotel decoration is also very nice and bright with all amenities that we might need during living in Hotels. The bed is very comfortable and clean. The location of Hotel is perfect - a few minutes to the Lake and old quarter, lots of eateries nearby

The brand new hotel is really clean and really good hotel in The Old Quarter. Hotel staffs lovely and helpful. all foreigner in the hotel most of them are travelers , Trip in the hotel is really good, Halong Bay in Vietnam is really beautiful. I want to say that really good place to stay and center location.

The hotel picked us up at the airport as promised for a swift transfer. The family room was ready on arrival, spacious and clean. Breakfast was great with many choices of traditional noodle soup or freshly cooked omelets,fresh fruits, and the coffee brought to the room in the morning was much appreciated. Mrs. Huyen booked internal flights on request before our arrival, and organized train tickets, tours and hotels for the latter part of our journey. Our Halong Bay cruise was excellent (2D/1N), we would recommend longer if you have the time. We spent two days with Phoenix Cruise, our guide, the food and service on board was fab. The location of the hotel in the old quarter is great and in walking distance of many attractions.Thank you for all.
