Great beds!!!
friendly, good breakfast with the smell wafting into your room in the morning great way to wake up! good location walked around main part of town all day first day. Small rooms but clean, pleasant looking and comfy. Access to computers in foyer. good value Hotel.
Highly recommend Thaison Grand Hotel.
Rooms are very clean, very comfortable and the staff are amazing!! Only let down about this hotel is the breakfast, which is very basic, however this said the hotel is in such a busy little area that I would stay at the hotel, skip their breakfast and eat at one of the many fantastic cafes in the area.
We booked the Halong bay on Eclipse Cruise through mr. Cong Nguyen and we were very happy with this trip. Pick- up from Hanoi airport to hotel was also useful. Highly recommend Thaison Grand Hotel.

Great value for money
The rooms were always clean, the showers looked looked like they are from a sci-fi movie and were to die for. The food was ample and well presented. The location was great, close to good quality restaurants, a good walk to Hokiam lake and shops. A wonderful experience. Great day trips to choose from.

Nice and clean hotel
This was a great small 3 star hotel in the heart of the Hanoi City old- Quarter and it is close to everything. Very clean, neat rooms and hotel staff very polite and extremely helpful with their customers. The buufet breakfast is very good and included in the price and we really enjoyed it. highly recommended!!
Best choice!
The hotel being located in the old quarter is a real bonus for venturing around inner Hanoi. The roads and stalls are here are completely different by day and by night. Footpaths turns into restaurants and bars and we found it great to easily visit this.
Beds were the most comfy we experienced in Vietnam and were pleased with the excellent aircon. We are light sleepers, so chose a room which wasnt road facing. While offering nice views, the road facing rooms do not let you get any respite from Hanoi's noisy driving style.
Others have noted dirty towels etc? We found towels quite clean, just at the end of their useful life.

Grand Hotel
Bien situé ( Number 7 + 9 Hang Mam), au coeur des vieux Quartiers , l’ hôtel Thaison Grand est bien agréable. Les chambres sont claires, avec tout le confort et surtout très propres. Le patron- M. Kenny est très souvent à la reception et super gentil ( Parce que le receptionist a été absent quand nous sommes arrivés). J’ai ré ser vé cet hotel à la part de mon ami et je vivement recommande cet Thaison Grand Hotel. J’y reviendrai dans l’année prochaine.
