Comfortable stay in Old Center Hotel
This hotel is so comfortable for staying -quiet esp in the night .
Hotel room is clean and equipped with extra fan besides air conditioner..
Room is also equipped with a hot water maker.
Hotel staff are friendly and they try to make you feel at home.....
Hotel location is so near to old market street -closed to shops & restautants and the banks.( all withins 3 mins to 7 mins walk ).
Hotel also provides tours / transports services. ( suggest your arrange this service for airport arrival pickup or departure to avoid inconveniences ).
It is worth the money for the price paid.
I had stayed another hotel nearby for the same price but the stay was not so good and comfortable as this in many aspects.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for comfortable stay in Hanoi.

This hotel is in a good location being near the lake, with shops and restaurants close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged car pickups to and from the airport. I would stay at this hotel again.
This is a small basic hotel. It is well situated. The staff are very friendly and helpful, The rooms are small, but clean. The breakfast was fine. I would definnitely stay here again
Very friendly and hospitable
I arrived at this hotel on the evening of Tet, the Vietnamese New Year Festival. I was greeted with rice cake and candies, and the owner's family invited me for lunch the next day. The hospitality and friendliness was overwhelming. Unfortunately the room was a bit dark and only had two tiny high-level windows. So if you intend to stay for longer, ask for a room with bigger windows.

We could have not wanted for more....
We could have not wanted for more. The accommodation and the service at this hotel were incredible. We got warmly pick up after a night train and greeted with delicious breakfast before getting in our room. The room were immaculatly clean, comfortable. We see the staff was helpful in showing us where to visit and booking up restaurant and helping us to change our flight. The location can not be beat, its well located relative to eating and shopping. An excellent experience.
I stayed in the Hanoi Lakeside Hotel...
I stayed in the Hanoi Lakeside Hotel for 4 days as part of my friend and I's free and easy holiday trip. Location was very good. It was just s short walk to a main shopping area. The location was also good as it was situated in a quiet and safe lane of the Old Quarter with many fine eateries, especially French food. Service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. We received a free upgrade to a deluxe room on arrival and they were willing to let us check out 2 hours later without additional charges to meet our flight schedule. There is a simple menu for breakfast every morning and we love the fried bacon egg, bread and buttery taste coffee. The facilities were within our expectations for a budget 3 star hotel. There are 2 computers with free internet access on the ground floor that is very much appreciated for working backpackers like us to check email. The room was clean. It comes with 3 free bottles of mineral water and tidbits. There is not much scenery as we were facing the water tank and some residential houses.
The only minus point of the hotel was the location of our room. We can hear cats crying eerily and sounds of waters gushing down the pipes hidden behind the walls of the bed every day and night. The sounds may put off some light sleepers and young children. But I believe its due to the residential houses around the area and the design of the building. It is thus not the fault of the hotel.
Overall, we are happy with our experience in the hotel and will definitely highly recommend it for backpackers, couples and business travellers.
The location is about the best in...
The location is about the best in Hanoi, 2 minute walk to the Lake and some minutes to all of major sites in the city. This hotel had so much charm, clean, comfort. The staff were amazing, also speak very good English and showed us around the city. There is no better place have never found one where the staff so enjoy their jobs in helping people. Wifi is free in hotel. Absolutely recommend this Hotel!
