Staff friendly and very helpful. rooms and bedding clean not bad for price.
"Great stay, great service and great staff
I found this hotel through Tripadvisor & Asiaroom, I can see why it earns such a good reputation. The staff was graceful and did everything they could to make my stay a pleasant one. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was wonderful. When I left, the management got me a taxi and came out to help with the luggage and say goodbye. It was a great ending to my Vietnam trip.
Ha Noi was my final destination. It was going to be my homebase for travelling to Ninh Binh, Sapa, and Ha Long Bay during a short period of time. I was apprehensive about the logistics of my travels. Hoa, who worked there, saw my planning and suggested that I took the tours with the hotel to make things more simple.
I let Hoa plan everything, including arranging the dates to get the most out of my travels, getting train tickets to Ninh Binh, and going on tours to Sapa and Ha Long Bay. She did a great job planning out my travels until the day I left Vietnam. Everything went smoothly, the tickets were where she said they would be, the tour guides were excellent. The Sapa hotel from the tour had a wonderful mountain view, the Ha Long Bay junk I was on was 1 year old and immaculate. Of course her service was free and the price for both tours was reasonable (I found out later that other people on the tours paid a little more.) It was a good and economical decision to let Hoa take over the planning. I am very happy I stayed at this hotel.

Hotel staff
All staff, especially Mr. Huy, at the Royal Palace Hotel Hanoi are very helpful and friendly. All the services provided by the hotel staff are admirable. I hope to stay in this hetel again.
"Great Hotel”
The hotel is located in the Old City Quarter. We thought the location was perfect and centralized. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. It is also close to the water puppet show. The staff was extremely helpful with getting us tickets for the shows and to Halong Bay. I made all of the arrangements through the hotel and everything turned out great. The rooms were small but clean and nice. We even had a computer and internet in our room. We really liked this hotel, especially for the price and would stay there again
Good location for short stay, clean room and very friendly staff
A little gem.
We arrived in Hanoi and then pickup service provided by the hotel was waiting to take us to the hotel. We were greeted by David (Mr. Huy) and offered tea/coffee while the details were taken care of. We opted for a Deluxe room as it had a window to the outside and my wife likes to see daylight. The Superior room was similar, but no outside window, just a high window opening to the hall.
Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. It's not the Hilton, but for budget travellers, the rooms were spotless, bathrooms clean and had excellent toilets and showers.

“Great Value and Friendly Hotel”
My room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and spoke good English. The trip that the hotel organised to Halong Bay was excellent value and a real highlight of my stay. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was outstanding. Do take up the airport transfers that the hotel organises if you are coming from outside Vietnam - the service the hotel organises costs about the same as a taxi and means that you don't have any extra hassle when you get to the airport.
basic accomodation
Hotel room was very cramped and noisy. It had a motorbike washing business outside in the street which operated late at nite and early in the morning. It was also a long walk from the city centre.
Fantastic boutique hotel in Hanoi
This í an excellent boutique hotel in Hanoi. The rooms and amenities are really nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
