A fantastic deal. Go for it!
If you want to stay in real Old district, this is the place to stay.
Super friendly staff and Management.
The Ong Lan road is full of Chinese herbal pharmacies. 100% Vietnamese action from early morning. One of the very best staff in Hanoi. (We stay 6-8 months every year in Vietnam and the SE-Asia region). The room is excellent if it wasn't for the plastic covering the madras. Very clean and nice bath. Breakfast unfortunately is very non-Asian. All to many spicy afraid Brits has ruined the menu by complaining of everything offside typical toast, Lipton, scrambled eggs etc. PLEASE fellow Europeans; Give feedback also on good Asian breakfast. Otherwise we all end up staying in hotel only serving boring and tasteless English or American breakfast.
