Location of the hotel is great as its walking distance to Dong Khoi Street where the boutiques and cafes are.Service is good and breakfast is a feast where there is plenty of choice for a buffet.Strongly recommend for anyone who wants to discover Ho Chi Minh City.

This hotel no doubt has the best service I have experienced. The restaurant and bar on the 5th floor is famous and rightly so. Being in the centre or the city it is close to everything. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

We have been back to the Rex twice now and would not dream of staying anywhere else in Ho Chi Minh City. All the staff are so friendly and eager to help you with any questions or luggage (and boy did we have luggage) HCMC is a delightful city can't wait to return in march 2004 and you guessed it we are booked at the Rex.

The food was great and the staff as helpful as you would want.
I will give it 10/10 as I can not think of anything that was wrong and look fondley on the memory of the Hotel and the city.

My wife & I stayed at the Rex for 4 nights. The interior decor of the hotel was beautiful - something you could not find in the more modern hotels. The suites were very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and efficienct. The rooftop bar and restaurant lived up to its reputation as one of the best in Asia - a great place to relax after a day wandering around in the heat. We also found the location of the Rex to be perfect for our needs and within easy walking distance of many popular tourist attractions.
