Location of the hotel was perfect as it's within walking distance to the city centre. Ben Thanh Market and a lot of the city tourist museums and attractions are all within walking distance. Good for travellers who like the idea of exploring on their own without having to fork out excessive transport fees, considering the heavy traffic condition in HCMC. Also, there were travel agencies just right next to the hotel who provided day trips to Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnels etc, so that's another bonus - we didn't have to worry about getting to the pick-up location on time in the mornings.
Hotel service was lacking. The reception staff who attended to us were not helpful or friendly. When we first arrived, we had to literally beg for the city centre map from the lady who attended to us. In fact, the porters were much more friendlier and helpful in assisting foreign travellers like us.
Facilities were kept to a minimum. We stayed in a superior room for 3 people, so it's just nice. Anything smaller and it will be a little congested for us. Breakfast was not great, would suggest you to take a quick bite in the morning before heading elsewhere for more.
Overall, our stay in this hotel was relatively pleasant and smooth. COnsidering the price, would definitely stay here again.
