Overall a good budget hotel in a...
Overall a good budget hotel in a good location. Very convenient for walking around HCMC. The hotel has a good cafe and breakfast is adequate for those not fussy about food. Rooms are clean but small with Cabel TV. We got a room on the higher floors based on reviews read on this webpage. For light sleepers request to stay on higher floors so the road noise would not wake you. Motorist are very fond of using the horn and the hotel is just next to the main road. Value for money.

The location of the hotel is good...
The location of the hotel is good as its within walking distance to the major attractions like the market and the museums. The rooms are clean and quite up to date in design. However, tehre is only 1 lift and its quite slow. Apart from that, nothing negative about the hotel. Stay was good and would recommend to other friends.

Be prepared to part with passports during...
Be prepared to part with passports during your stay in Vietnam Hotels. Seems like it is a requirement on check-in. Non descript hotel. Lift takes a long time to come. Beware of slippery bathroom floor. Bad smells along corridor. Long walk to Ben Than Market. We paid for triple room - Don't think it's worth it for the small size. The spare bed was not comfy. Didn't use it afterall. Didn't feel safe as the door seems to be of poor quality. We went for breakfast at 6.20am and dining room wasn't ready to receive us but staff eating the food! Plenty of alternatives at half price along this stretch and just as well. Had 3 fresh coconuts from pushcart and got fleeced. Stayed only 1 night. Checked into Tan Hoang Ngoc Hotel - For SGD30 difference we had a beautiful room - Queen-size plus super single beds.

Overall I am satisfy with this hotel....
Overall I am satisfy with this hotel. But there are still rooms for improvement: 1) Wireless connection is bad. Even my laptop already connected to the hotel wireless network, but I cannot use it. This must be improved if they want to attract clients who come for business purposes. Also, the speed must be improved as well.

for the price you pay for a room at this hotel it is well above what its is worth. the rooms are Modern, clean & simple. and the pices are ridiculously affordable

Honestly i read some of the reviews...
Honestly i read some of the reviews before booking the hotel and was a bit apprehensive. Some people had rated the hotel not so nicely. However I went ahead and booked 2 rooms as the price was right for our budget this trip. And I would say that the hotel met our expectations for that price range. Breakfast was good and catered by the cafe downstairs. Staff were helpful. Room service was prompt. Overall good value for money. If I had twice the budget, I would have stayed in a hotel with more character or history. Liberty 3 is a straight to the point, decent 3 star hotel.

We booked a standard room and was upgraded. The room is small but good enough for two of us. Room and bathroom are clean and nice. Although the room is facing the road, noise is not a problem. The staff are very friendly. Location is fantastic; pubs, restaurants, travel agencies are just round the corner. It takes about 10-15 mins walk to the market where you can buy cheap and nice clothings, souveniors, handicrafts, etc. Breakfast is ok, but gets boring if you are eating the same food for a few days. Value for money accomodation :)
