Liberty3 is not what we expected. Under renov, bfast setup @liberty4 down the road, which is terribly chaotic/unhygienic. I booked Deluxe Suite @US$37/night, but got an ordinary Superior type of room, which is so tiny. (I could understand the size could be due to it's city location, but it is definitely not a Suite !) When I asked the front desk, was told that's the Suite category in Liberty3, even though its brochure clearly show the picture of a "real Suite". The staff claimed that only Liberty4 has the "normal" Suite room!
Liberty3 hotel staff service awfully terrible ! Can never do things right (didn't collect laundry, no tea/coffee available when we asked, room is not well-kept, carpet dirty, OK, the bathroom seems just renovated, but so squeezy, no place to hang our clothing. Reception kept our passport for one night and when asked to return our passport the next morning, they said need to keep further to make photocopy. When I show my agitation and asked "You mean, you keep the passports since last night and didn't do anything ? We want them back now, as we need them when we're out doing the tours". They immediately make copies at the machine just opposite their counter !
Front desk insisted they can help with SinhCafe tour booking (which I have booked online and confirmed, just need to make payment). Instead they book thru Tuan Travel, where 12pax had to squeeze in a hot/stuffy minibus, aircon not working, at each stop we had to keep pulling/pushing the foldable seats ! One Swiss lady said what an exercising/stressful tour !
