I am not a first time traveler...
I am not a first time traveler to Vietnam. This hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and very polite. My room was scheduled to be redecorated during my stay, so it may be a little nicer now. It was clean and simple with a nice balcony. More than adequate.
The location is an area more frequented by back packers and other western budget visitors. It is a noisy street with more seedy street characters than in other parts of HCMC. I was not bothered by this, but would not stay here with my children.
It is about on par with the typical American motel you would find near an airport with the addition of a more curteous staff and a decent restaurant.
Considering it was a third to one sixth the price of a 4-5 star "western" hotel it is a great value for a decent hotel for someone who does not require all the extras of the very fancy hotels.
It had everything I need for a visit or a business trip.

Extremely friendly and professional staff. The room was spotless and the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. The restaurant was outstanding and you should try the baked carp with green peppercorn sauce.
For entertainment, you can just stand outside the entrance and watch the 17,000,000 motorbikes zooming by.
If I return to HCM, I will definitely stay here again!

Rooms were nice and tidy, the location is perfect, right in the heart of tourist area. Breakfast was best out of all hotels we stayed in saigon. But make sure you get a double bed if you booked it, they only gave us two single beds.

Liberty 4 Hotel is in a great location, near all the tour booking offices. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Massage/jacuzzi and nightclub in the hotel. But avoid the hotpot lunch, it was pretty bad. Hotel staff was very friendly.

Everyone is very helpful. The housekeeping staff keeps the room very clean. The hotel is located in the tourist district; walking distance to just about everything. There are internet cafe(s) within 25 meters from the Liberty 4 Hotel. The bar upstairs is very upscale. Taxi(s) are available within minutes. This place is worth every pennies.

Ideally located in the central Ho Chi Minh city. Conveniently to get access and enggage to tour agent for tickit and tour packages, Peace and comfortable ambience as garden and tourist sport + shopping area just a working distance. Effficient house keeping and the room very clean.
My suggestion the hotel shoul considered to provide airport pickup service.
