We were greeted warmly by the hotel staff. At first the room we were given was at the 4th floor, but because I remembered the reviews about the noise from the road, club/pub downstairs which I've read on this website, I asked to change to a room on a higher floor. So we got one on the 8th floor.
The room is spacious & clean. The view from our balcony was the park across the road which was nice. However, as our room is so happen to be just under the restaurant on the 9th floor, you can hear the staff walking or people dragging their chairs when they sit down. But this was in the daytime, so it would not be an issue unless you're planning to stay in the hotel during the day.
The Ben Thanh Market is within walking distance and we had our dinner there too. They have delicious street/hawker style food which is freshly cooked & reasonably priced.
We would probably stay there again if we visit HCMC again.
