Excellent location - wonderful breakfast - huge choices ! Pool was a godsend with kids to cool off - and staff very friendly. The tour desk couldn't have been more helpful. Just a little over our budget as the economy rooms never seemed to be available.

Hotel is a great location. Rooms in old wing have plenty of character. Nice hotel but there are many others in the area that have similar facilities and better service for a little less dollars

"The Grand was in a great location..."
The Grand was in a great location and the old part of the building has lots of character, as did our room, and it does have a pool - but - its noisy and expensive
and the airconditioning can be unreliable and the staff a bit rude. I wouldn't stay here again but there are plenty of hotels in the same area to try.

"We found this hotel excellent for our..."
We found this hotel excellent for our 1 night stay on arriving in Ho Chi Minh. We were upgraded to the old section of the hotel which was really nice, clean, very big room, swimming
pool excellent, breakfast excellent, very quiet hotel, location great, staff very friendly. We were very impressed with hotel and we booked again for our 6hr stop over coming back into Ho Chi Minh. We were put into the new section of the hotel which was not as good as the old section. When we use this hotel again next year, we will ask for the old section as it is much nicer. Overall, we enjoyed the Grand Hotel very much for the time we were there and we will go back again. Thanks again to Asia Rooms for your great service.

"Good hotel in a perfect location: within..."
Good hotel in a perfect location: within easy reach to all the major attractions. My room was on the 8th floor and me and my wife thought it was too quiet. However we were relieved as there was a guard on duty every night. Would recommend to friends.

"The best advantage of staying in Grand..."
The best advantage of staying in Grand Hotel is its location. It is close to the major attractions Ho Chi Minh City has to offer - the City Hall, the markets, Opera House and the
major malls. The price is the attractive for a 4-star hotel in that area. One disappointment is the gym, or lack of it. It consists only of a treadmil and a stationary bike right next to the pool, not confined by 4 walls. The pool is very small, but the ambience is quite cosy and quaint.

The Hotel was great. Lovely big room. Really appreciated the fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful but the restaurant/ bar staff need professional training. This would really improve the standard.
Everyone was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

"For the price of S$216.00(US$155.00)a room per..."
For the price of S$216.00(US$155.00)a room per night, I thought the place is overly priced for the quality of the hotel and room one gets. I think it should be in the S$140.00(US$100.00)range instead to
justify the quality of its rooms, service. Cleanliness: Yes its clean and the rooms are spotless, but I wouldnt say its tastefully designed, just adequate. Beds are very comfortbale and pillows are too. Its just average and not luxurious. Location: Well its in Dong Khoi, or the street where it all matters alright, but its on the end side of the said street but its walkable to almost all tourist spots. Anyway taxis are dirt cheap. Service: if your the type who doesnt fuss about "service" this is okay for you. As long as my room is clean, aircon functional, breakfast good, thats all the service. Dont go for its Massage, its a joke but its dirt cheap. Breakfast: Well its enough and I think theres a lot of variety for a breakfast. How much breakfast can you stuff to yourself anyway but i think 6-9pm breakfast is a little too early, it should be 6-1030pm if I was to judge by most hotel ive stayed around Asia. Will I stay? Only if the price is good, I would consider Bong Sen Hotel or Rex Hotel for the same price range Grand is asking.

"We have stayed at the hotel 4..."
We have stayed at the hotel 4 years ago and found that the hotel was great apart from the poor air conditioning system, which kept the room temperature at 27 degrees centigrade.
4 years on, the hotel rooms are still very good but the air conditioning system is still poor.

We had 4 very pleasant days at the Grand and were extremely happy with the service, quality of food and general "good feeling". The hotel boasts the perfect position in Saigon and when the new
additions are complete will be a 5 star facility second to none. I look forward to returning here in January.
