Definately go here
Being my first time in vietnam , i was quite satisfied with the hotel. I didnt bother to look for any other rooms or how much they cost as i was very happy here and the tarrif was very affordable. We paid 50 USD for a twin room per night and stayed 2 nights. The breakfast is an added bonus that you get which is well worth it. They have lots of salads and the asian style buffet (with a proper main course that normally would be served for lunch or dinner). They also had the option to cook eggs as and how you like it then n there. They are always very accomodating to special requests. The restaurant is on the 12th floor. Its a rooftop setup with the bustling city view around it. The hotel is in a very convenient location in district one , as are many other hotels. There are decent pubs/bars/restaurants nearby which are really good. They will take care of your luggage if your check out is early and flight is late too... All in all - good value for money and well worth the holiday.

This was our first stop in Vietnam........wow......for a 3 star hotel ...great start to our holiday....right in the middle of the culture of Vietnam.....just what we wanted the trip to entail......No whinging travellers complaining about the cultural differences....just smiling faces ....people wanting to help with every question we had....even with our lack of the language.......such patience.....The room was spacious, but not large, clean but not shiney.......for the traveller keen on learning and embracing Vietnam , this is a great start

Overall, I was satisfied with my 3 nite stay at Elios. It is in the backpackers area but the main attractions are near enough if you don't mind the 10-15 min walk - of course its hot in Saigon even 10 mins may seem long. The rooms are OK , small but ,clean, well-maintained and mine had a window. The aircon was cool, hot water was hot, bed was firm, sheets were crisp enough but it took me 5 -6 tries to get the electronic safe to open. Breakfast offered very good choices esp. for salads and fruit and the French bread was really very good. Staff was spoke clear English and were helpful enough. The downside of the location is the nearby eating places are on the low end. They are cheap though. The upside is the area is alive even late at night so it seems safe.

london, england
we stayed in a standard room which has no window it was awful, the space is so small for a double room, the value for money isn't worth it, luckily we only stay for one night! but the location was ok, nearer to the tourist area where its easy access for the buses and booking for a tour.

Posh Backpackers
Honestly, after leaving luxury in thailand for $50, I assumed the same standard would await for my arrival for $60 in vietnam. Whilst there is nothing wrong with the Elios per se, this is definitely more of a backpackers place. Wall to Wall tiling means its a bloody noisy place. Lets not talk about the traffic noise late at night either. I had a few hiccups when I got there, power outage and air cond not working. The staff were responsive and kind and tried their best. I left after a day and they were considerate & kind. If I was 20 years younger, this would be the place to be. The wifi was awesome and the breakfast much better than the place i went to next ($100 a night).

Good Hotel
This is my second stay in this hotel. Room is clean and staff is friendly. Everything is in order like checking in and out. I work in International five star hotel, can I say the customer service is comparable. I will definately stay here again.

good room, no window
we have booked a superior room. The room itself was ok but there was no window resp. one small window with view to aircon fan and no daylight. One should book the deluxe room.
Overall good location reasonable price.
