Close to all of HCMC sights &...
Close to all of HCMC sights & 'sounds' and a 30 minute 90-100K dong taxi ride to the airport. Definitely only use the Minlihh taxi company who have reliable meters. The hotel was very adequate for a budget hotel but did offer a very reasonable buffet breakfast. Rooms were kept clean and the front of house staff were very helpful. Unfortunately we stayed when a wedding was in progress so the noise from above our room was very distracting, the hotel were very quick to move us to an upgraded room for the remainder of our stay.

The Chancery Saigon is conveniently located in District 3 in Buong BNam Ky Khoi Ngia road. Opposite the hotel is a nice park.Rooms are reasonably sized suites with basic amenities and free wireless intenet. Cleanliness is average, some ants so care must be taken not to leave sweets or fruits lying around.The bar and restaurant downstairs offers very decently priced cocktails and beer from 4pm till midnight.
Do visit the Banh Thanh market, and try the coffee. Excellent but very strong. Also do visit the Cu Chi tunnels. Must do !

Very large room aperment, but dissapointingly no facilitty to make a cup of tea / coffee in the room. The breakfast was unimaginative, and it seemed that all the plates and cups were deliberately small making multiple trips to the breakfast buffete. A leak in the bathroom was not fixed after 3 days of reporting it, and we were eventually offered an alternative room. Our request to move the TV to the longe was rejected, with a feeble excuse, and the location TV was located at the side of the bedroom, making watching very awkward

I booked this hotel from reading the positive reviews, and thought the rooms looked pretty nice, and facilities catered for through here but it was below average. When we arrived the reception staff were nice and welcoming.
The room size was abit small for the three of us ( 3 beds cramped in), and bath room was abit run down with very little amenities. Overall I think the hotel is abit run down, and not all facilities provided because they were renovating or fixing something. We got woken up very early every morning with construction noises which was not at all pleasant. The buffet breakfast was average.
Overall, I wouldn't stay here again because the stay was not to my standard and pleasant. We booked for 3 nights through here so we couldn't change our bookings but after the 3rd night we moved to a different hotel called Vien Dong Hotel for the same cost and was 100% more satisfied.
For those who is looking for value for money, cleanliness, great service, and nice room, please stay at Vien Dong Hotel, you will be alot more satisfy.
This was a wonderful location for us...
This was a wonderful location for us and the rooms were large...but what really made it good was the staff. They were so courteous and helpful at all times! It is not elegant or upscale, but is a great deal for the money! Breakfast was included and was a mix of American & Vietnamese dishes.

A good value hotel with pleasant staff. Good breakfast facilities. Location pretty good. Internet availability was expensive and this was a detraction although the availability of options in the City are limitless.

The room is big for the price you pay for, they had just refurbished their room (i think so), my room comes with new carpet,it comes with a living room, 10-15 Mins walk to Ben thanh Market or district 1. Recommended for stay.
