I believe that was a very good decision i made to stsy in new world hotel
Location is good,facilities are good,real value for money .
Great business hotel - but not cheap
Good business hotel and this time extremely busy.
Internet access great but at $15/day not cheap.

Upgraded to the Exec package, which included room upgrade to a suite, free internet, cocktails & canapes and breakfast - great deal. 5 star treatment at a very reasonable price.
not a new world afterall
1. Check in - receptionist was pleasant, suggested to upgrade to executive level for extra perks. Not worth it to pay extra usd40 per day for the kind of breakfast selection. In addition, the food tags displayed does not tally with the actual food presented.
2. Door lock was spoilt - no one came to repair after informing service staff.
3. Executive lounge - service staff only greets and helped the caucasians. They did not bother to serve us tea/coffee.
4. Wifi connection - this was the most disappointing piece of news! I paid $71 sgd per night at a backpacker hotel and i get free wifi 24hours. New world does not have wifi within hotel room. You are only entitled 30mins usage of their computers if you upgrade to executive floor.
5. Health club spa - rude service staff. Insentive choice of words when we checked if there were available slots. The given reply was "i told you to book earlier" she repeated herself 3 times consecutively!
it is not worth spending so much in this hotel. It was a mistake, i will never stay here again.

The hotel facilities and standard of service was more than satisfactory and the staff very helpful. I can recommend the New world Hotel without hesitation. I was not disturbed by traffic noise.

Nice hotel with a perfect location, as next to main market, museum, tourism agencies: we could do all by walking.
We requested a high floor as we are in the center so it's very noisy.

I had a wonderful time in the hotel. The service was very good. Breakfast was good. Frankly, no complaints. The location of the hotel is convenient.
