When I arrived the first thing that came to mind was, "This place really is as nice as the pictures, it wasn't just dressed up for the photos." The staff there spoke English rather well, moreso than the average I experienced in the rest of the city however it wasn't flawless. I don't deduct for this at all however because it's a curteosy they know my language, not something to be expected. The room service was prompt, the maid service was thorough, the laundry service was very prompt (they charged my polo style shirt as a t-shirt instead of a dress shirt). The executive area on the top floor was pleasant enough, though internet access was $2.50 per 15 min, at least it was fairly quick. Lastly, there's a law prohibiting any foreigner from staying in the room as an opposite sex Vietnamese citizen. So, having a Vietnamese girlfriend (a real girlfriend, not one that was paid for) forced us to rent a seperate room each night however the staff at the hotel was very curteous about it for the most part except when she came in my room they would sometimes call and ask to speak to "the vietnamese girl in your room" to check and see if she had her own room rented. She was a bit offended by this but the law is the law. Wish they'd change it. Yes, I would stay there again, nice place. Oh, and lastly there were weddings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday which closed to pool area for everyone but at the same time the place looked really nice and the brides and grooms were so happy we weren't upset. I fully recommend this hotel.
