this hotel is conveniently located in the...
this hotel is conveniently located in the delightful old town of Hoi An which is very walkable. The friendly staff are very welcoming & they have a very pleasant spa on site for massage that was good & reasonable. They need to work on their fitness/gym room, it has potential! It would upgrade the hotel to a higher standard. The breakfast area is lovely, with chef making omlettes. I think it's great value & comfortable!

Good hotel right in a great location...
Good hotel right in a great location in Hoi An. A stones throw from the shops, market and great restuarants Hoi An has to offer. The hotel is older in style but very comfortable. We had a senior deluxe room and it was more than adequate. Clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom and balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great and well used by us ( its was very very hot..) We were undecided whether to stay in town or on the beach in Hoi An but we were very happy we stayed in town with such great access to everything. The only negative I could see would be that we were on the 3rd floor and with no elevator...Not a problem for us but for people with less mobility I would request a room on the lower floor. If you want a small intimate boutique hotel this is not for you but a good 3 star choice in great central location

We wished we stayed longer in Hoi An. The hotel was fantastic and the room was well presented with views overloking the pool. We have a number of friends and family wanting to visit Vietnam and the Hoi An Resort will be one of our first recommendations. The only negative was not having a transport service between the hotel and airport. Negotiating with the local taxi drivers can be an issue.

A nice hotel and well located to...
A nice hotel and well located to the old town with a short walk to the markets and restaurants, There was no lift and we were on the 3rd floor so elderly would find it hard. The room was fine, and quiet, The did do good breakfasts and the free shuttle to the beach was always on time. In all a clean room with air conditioning, so it was good value. The room was starting to look a bit old and in need of an update or at least a paint job.

was a bit unsure as I had...
was a bit unsure as I had read that a lot of tour groups stay here and normally I tend to stay in smaller boutique style hotels. But this place was great. We had the cheapest dble room and it was fine..after all you dont spend too much time in your room...the room was massive, pool fantastic, breakfast was huge, any lunch we ate there was great. My only suggestion would be to have staff wandering around the pool offering food/drinks so you didnt have to get up and go to restaurant every time you wanted something. A 5 min walk to all the restaurants in town which was great. The room was quiet and dark (good for those who sleep in) and being in our early 40's we acually met some very nice people around the pool who were slightly older (and on tour groups) but they were fun and interesting to talk to. Its very clean. We were not bothered once about tailors or the selling of any tours which was great and actually booked a tour across the street as when we inquired at the hotel it was quite pricey but the never pushed anything on us. The beach is 3km away so cyclo or taxi...and it is a great beach but you kind of have to make a choice...do you want to stay at the beach or in town. I must say it was so hot when we were there mid april that we tended to use the pool alot more than planned as we had intended to go the beach more but couldnt be bothered..but its easy enough to get to. The hotel offers a shuttle every hr or so but you do have to pay usd$1 per person per way, and its only usd$3 in a taxi so either os is ok...all in all we could not complain about this hotel and would def stay again....its not 5* but you are not paying 5* prices either!! Try it out....hope to be back there next year for a longer trip to vietnam!!

The hotel is well located for Hoi...
The hotel is well located for Hoi An Town, which is a really nice part of Vietnam. The sites such as the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly rooms, pagodas, market and the riverside are a short stroll away, as are a good range of very reasonable restaurants. My favourite restaurant was one by the riverside number 99 which outwardly was shabby, probable linked to the fact that the properties along the riverside flood in November. Despite the appearance of the place the food was excellent; I particularly enjoyed the grilled tuna in banana leaf. The hotel also provides transport to the beach which is 4 Kilometres away though I personally used a Honda om to get to the beach. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool; the staff are generally helpful and pleasant. The room was a good size and generally pleasant. The breakfast was fair, a rather limited range of items of a reasonable quality. Overall the hotel represents good value for money for a hotel in Vietnam

My husband, myself, my son and daughter...
My husband, myself, my son and daughter stayed in this hotel in February. It was a delightful hotel. The surroundings were lovely, and we really felt like we were in another country, as it had a very distinct Vietnamese feel. The service was great, but the breakfast was not as good as we had had in other hotels in Vietnam. The room was good - it had an antique feel. It was a little cooler when we were in Hoi An however, and the bed coverings were very light. My daughter had to put some towels and other things on her bed to be warm enough. As there were 2 single beds in her room, the two blankets provided meant only 1 per bed, which was not enough. For the double bed in our room, the 2 blankets were sufficient. Although the shower in our room was hot both days, in my daughter's room it was only lukewarm on the second day. Overall though, I would stay here again as my husband and I did not have the problems my daughter did.
