A great location and a fabulous setting....
A great location and a fabulous setting. We stayed for 5 nights and had a perfect stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend this as an ideal place to stay in Hoi An. Good base to explore other places such as Hue, Marble Mountain etc.

This hotel was very central and within walking distance to all we wanted to do. We would stay again.The breakfast was very good and the restaurant area vgery pleasant. Rooms are comfortable and big enough the bathrooms were very modern.

The Hoi An Hotel is located a close walk to the center of the historical town of Hoi An. Between the beach and the town, the town really holds more appeal and charm with its shop houses and nice restaraunts (definitely try Mrs. V's "Morning Glory") and tailors. In a way, it is nice that the town hasn't been overly restored and shows petina and character. The Hoi An Hotel rooms are large, but the age of the hotel is showing a bit in aging bathroom fixtures, slow internet... The hotel was clean, and pleasant enough but may be facing some stiff competition from some of the newer resorts closer to the beach and popping up in town. The restaurant had very slow service for lunch.

A grand colonial style hotel with very reasonable prices. Has a very good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. Only negative was the travel desk, where the staff were less than friendly and helpful. Otherwise highly recommended, and a good location if you are planning to visit Hoi An in the wet season, as we did, when the hotels and streets closer to the riverside experienced flooding. The Hoi An Hotel is in close walking distance of all the sights but well away from the waterfront.

Stayed three nights, this hotel is for those who want to walk out and be straight into the bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms vary but ours was huge, big bathroom to spread your gear around, balcony to look over the pool and grounds. Spotless and room attendants very smiley and attentive to detail. Did not have a great deal to do with receptions or other staff but when we did they were cheerful and efficient. This town is very quiet after 10 am but the hotel does have a bar near the pool that stays open to midnight if you are not ready to call it a day. Also shuttle bus to the beach is free and runs sveral times a day. Highly recommendMermaids cafe down in the market area for superb meal. If i could find a criticism at all the water pressure in the shower was quite feeble, hardly a life crisis.

This Hotel was lovely, a piece of luxury for the budget weary traveller. The pool was a bonus, the deluxe room very comfortable and the breakfast was sensational. Only downside was the high price charged at the poolside bar. Would recommend.

The Hotel is a grand old dame, well maintained and nice. The location is fantastic, especially ideal for those on a short stay. The Positives: Room is generous in size and clean. Staffs are friendly, breakfast particularly the Vietnamese fares are nice, coffee is great. Good value for money. The Negatives: Was given one of the worst rooms in the hotel facing a dimmed wall with no view at all but you get noise from nearby school. I can understand, that the better rooms should logically be reserved for those paying more. When I was there, the hotel was not really filled, there appear no policy in the hotel to enhance guest's stay. Before booking, read in one other review about the bad room and thought by booking a Junior would solve the problem of getting such a room. It doesnt help, save the money. Overall a good hotel, very good value for money.
