Great hotel, we got moved room from...
Great hotel, we got moved room from 1st floor to 2nd floor and the outlook was much better. Character hotel not just an ac tower. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely pool area. Can recommend the on-site spa which has just opened.

The hotel has a feel like it...
The hotel has a feel like it is run by the government - there is a lack of service from staff and breakfast was incredibly ordinary, very depressing dining room. Go out for breakfast. We booked a deluxe room and were shown to a dark room overlooking a washing line. Thankfully when we questioned reception about this this, they immediately changed our room to one with a view over the pool which is not flash. Other Hoi An tips ... Hoa Cafe is brilliant - try the Hoi An pancakes and the ginger tea, and avoid Mrs Bong's laundry across the road - she charged us US$15 for a tiny amount of washing.

Hoi An Hotel is a wonderful hotel...
Hoi An Hotel is a wonderful hotel to stay at, centrally located and well appointed. The rooms quite large and comfortable. Breakfast very good. The gardens well looked after. The staff very good and eager to see that you have a great stay. Can recommend.

Second stay here. Booked a larger room online. A pleasant comfortable ground floor room near pool. Very central location for walking to shops, post office, banks and restaurants. Breakfast is a fairly basic but adequate buffet style. One wing was closed for renovation. Did an in-house morning cooking course that was fun. Overall, a relaxing hotel, good value without hype.

A really nice hotel, beautiful grounds and...
A really nice hotel, beautiful grounds and swimming pool, great rooms interesting décor with the dark oriental timbers, mosquito nets, tiled floors. Shutters on windows that opened on to balconies. Staff were all really pleasant and helpful, breakfast great. They have a really nice outdoor eating section near the pool which is very tropical and great for evening drinks. We loved it and would happily stay there again

Service at this hotel was excellent, we...
Service at this hotel was excellent, we had a cancelled flight so were delayed by a day and missed out on our first night at the hotel. When we arrived they offered for us to stay another night to make up for it but unfortunately our plans were already set in place and we couldn't stay on. The hotel has beautiful gardens and pool as well as a great breakfast. Great location close to the old town and river.

We spent four nights and we were...
We spent four nights and we were lucky two of them were over the weekend. Very noisy start on Monday morning at 6:00am with a school behind us. Pool was great, room was large and open, but noisy with tiled floor, staff were friendly and polite and spoke quite good english. Restaurant food was good, good selection. Venue is close to all shops and tailors. Not sure the distance to the beach, seemed a lot longer than what we were told. Staff "promoted" one tailor shop as best in Hoi An, use your own judgement, look around and try the others. Pricing at this venue was very good, if you don't mind parting with your passport during your stay. This did concern us but we got them back when we checked out. Overall, ok, stay again, maybe.
