The service was immaculate as seen through all service touch points- the frontline staff, the restaurant staff and even the chamber maids (even when they could not understand me!).
During my stay at the hotel, the hotel was undergoing some renovations and as such, most guests (including myself) avoided the second swimming pool as there were many construction workers watching around. However, just across the road on the beach itself, there is a nice area that has been condoned off by the hotel with nice chairs to sit and relax by the sea. It was difficult, however, to obtain towels from the swimming pool to bring to the beach though as there were limited supply and the staff will look at you warily.
However, do not rent the bike just outside the hotel entrance. I am not sure if the man is part of the hotel but he tries to rip us off (USD 10), did not provide much help in teaching to use the bike and tries to rip us off again when we returned the bike.
